The Cable Directory interviews Mr Alan Farrimond, Managing Director, PANDUIT Europe Ltd
Alan joined Panduit from a career in the infrastructure industry as the Sales Director of UK & Ireland. He recognised very early in his career at PANDUIT that there was a value in the early engagement with strategic alliance partners. Therefore he moved roles to being Alliance Director, EMEA. During the time in this role he founded the Cisco alliance and then invented the concept of PACT (Panduit Alliance for Converged Technologies) which has subsequently become a global driver for PANDUIT. He moved over to the Head Office in Tinley Park, Illinois, and became VP of Global Alliances and then moved into the role of VP Global Business Development which encompasses Alliances, Marketing and Key Vertical Markets. In July 2004 Alan returned to London as the Managing Director, PANDUIT Europe Ltd.
