Corning Cable Systems Signs Agreement with iTRACS Corporation

Two firms will cooperate in creating intelligent cabling solutions BERLIN, GERMANY ⎯ Corning Cable Systems GmbH & Co KG (CCS), part of Corning Incorporated’s (NYSE:GLW) Telecommunications segment, announced today that CCS and iTRACS Corporation have entered into an agreement to supply iTRACS compatible intelligent cabling solutions in Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA).

Incorporating iTRACS will simplify moves, adds and changes, and enable comprehensive management of the customer’s network, reducing overall IT management costs.

“Our customers need to manage all changes and additions to their network infrastructure with a high level of efficiency and reliability. This is especially critical in the data centre environment.”

CCS’s decision to offer intelligent patching in the EMEA region was influenced by its interest in developing new solutions to meet customer needs and to ensure the completeness of Corning Cable Systems LANscape® Solutions product portfolio.

Corning Cable Systems LANscape Solutions is a complete offering of products (including cable, connectors, hardware and pre-terminated solutions), services and support for fibre optic and copper cabling.
