National infrastructure projects boost growth in the domestic wire and cable industry

China is pouring money into its railways, smart grids and intelligent buildings, these investments are creating an upward trend in domestic wire and cable market growth. The demand for wires and cables, especially high-end cables, is expected to remain strong for the next five years and the country’s wire and cable production output is projected to exceed US$257 billion by 2020.

Leading the way in establishing such trends is the Wire & Cable Guangzhou 2016 exhibition, organised by Guangzhou Guangya Messe Frankfurt Co Ltd, Guangzhou BoYou Exhibition Service Co Ltd, Wire & Cable Guangzhou and China Southern Power Grid Media Co Ltd; South China’s leading wire and cable trade platform. The beneficial exhibition will take place at the China Import and Export Fair Complex from 6th- 8th June, 2016. Among the returning exhibitors from last year’s show was Guangdong Xinyi Aluminum Alloy Cable Co Ltd, which owns six production facilities across China.

 “We returned to the fair because we believe that this is an effective platform for promoting our company brand, especially to key buyers in the real estate and electronics industries. We were thrilled that seasoned buyers from the power and electrical industries came forth and expressed great interest in what we offer.”

Another satisfied exhibitor of the 2015 show was Jiangsu Handing Machinery Co Ltd, which provides smart, energy-efficient and cost-effective equipment and machinery for wire and cable manufacturers.

Mr Nie Hua Jun, Sales Manager of the company, said:
